Apparently, there is a white-rapper shortage, and VH1, for one, is very concerned. Hence, the "celebreality" channel's latest series, "The White Rapper Show", which debuts tonight, Jan. 8, at 10:30 p.m. Hosted by MC Serch and Prince Paul, the program takes 10 hopeful white rappers from around the country and puts them up in a South Bronx pad dubbed "The White House" as they face off to become the next big thing in hip-hop.
If that isn't enough to make you check out the show, consider the cast of characters, including a Texan named 100 Proof, who describes himself as "half man / half liquor;" a blonde Brit named Misfit Dior; a big, sassy girl from Queens named Persia; and Jon Boy, who calls himself "Christianity's biggest sinner." Judging from the video clip I found, this might actually be pretty funny. To watch the preview,
