TV Tonight: House

As if House hadn't shaken things up enough this season, tonight's episode brings yet another change from the usual formula. A documentary film crew is following around House and his team as they treat a teenage patient with a severe facial deformity. The writers have been playing with a reality TV allusion since the candidate search began at the start of this season, but this takes it to a whole new level. Can House mind his mouth around the cameras? I think I'll go with "no."

That's not House's only problem; he's also trying to figure out why he hired Dr. Samira Terzi (Michael Michele) away from the CIA. Funny — I've been wondering the same thing. To watch a clip of House debating his choice with Wilson, just

I really hope that the CIA girl doesn't stay on!

I did miss the last week's episode, but I agree with whiplashgirlchild. I know this is a terrible thing to say (because the show is so amazing) but I find that the writers always drag out these story arcs too long until I'm excited anymore. For example, last season with Tritter, we all knew that House wasn't going to end up in jail so we all got sick of that plot line. Hopefully this business of hiring/firing will sort itself out soon because I am missing my weekly dose of House, Foreman, Chase and Cameron!!

Whiplashgirlchild, I agree about Detective Tritter that I almost...almost stopped watching House altogether...but I actually don't mind Michael Michele being hired. That just means House has to fire 2 people in tonight's episode instead of 1.

"...he's also trying to figure out why he hired Dr. Samira Terzi (Michael Michele) away from the CIA. Funny — I've been wondering the same thing." Me too, Buzz. As always, looking forward to my weekly House fix tonight.

This whole Dr. Terzi thing is annoying me already. Every season, this show has an annoying story arc and I think this is it. The first year, it was Vogler, the evil hospital administrator. The second year, it was insufferable Botoxed shrew Stacey. Last year, it was Detective Tritter (aka Det. Sh*tter) I hope Michael Michele isn't just annoying story arc #4. :oy:

I can't wait, I missed last week :( because my sister decided to visit right before it started! Thats okay, I'm going by her place at 7 oclock to interrupt Coronation Street, a show she won't even answer the phone during!

Reminds me of the documentary episodes they did in M*A*S*H. Though I'm sure House will be less behaved around the camera crews...

I love this show! I actually just started watching it last season. I need to catch up with the other seasons.
