OK, so when you think of VH1 these days, you're probably more likely to think of Flava Flav with a gigantic clock dangling from his neck, dispatching another lady-in-waiting, than you are about original comedy. But the network is taking a step toward changing that impression tonight with the premiere of "I Hate My 30s," a comedy that takes a look at life's big tradeoffs (making a living vs. living the dream; settling down vs. hooking up) through the eyes of a gang of 30somethings.
An earnest guide named Dr. Rod will lead us through each of the episodes, poking fun at the kind of after-school specials many 20- and 30-somethings grew up with. I haven't had a chance to check out the full pilot yet, but you can watch it online at the show's official site. Or, you can check it out tonight at 10:30 p.m. Eastern. To watch a preview,
