With a handful of Emmy nominations and just outright comedic brilliance in its first season, we're thirsting for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt season two. The series, created by Tina Fey and starring Ellie Kemper and first-time Emmy nominee Titus Burgess, is premiering this week, and we have a ton of details. Season 2 Won't Have More Profanity or Nudity Just Because It Can
It's well known that Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was originally shot for NBC and thus had to adhere to network standards. Now that creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock are knowingly writing the series to Netflix's standards, they could have more profanity and nudity. But they won't: Fey said that people have come up to her to say that they watch the show with their 12-year-olds and teen children, and said, "I would hate to ruin that in season two." That being said, Fey said they can "play with time and structure" and don't have to worry about offending an advertiser like they would on network cable.

We Get to Meet Kimmy's Estranged Mother
At the show's season two premiere, Ellie Kemper told POPSUGAR that while the reunion doesn't fulfill her fantasy, "it leaves her content, but surprised." She added, "I feel like she comes to terms with something that is necessary."

Dong Is Probably Still Going to Be Around
Even though Dong (Ki Hong Lee) gets into a green-card marriage at the end of season two, don't expect for his relationship with Kimmy to be sunk. Fey said that "Dong is not entirely out of her life," casting a ray of light on Kimmy's love life.

We're Not Done With the Bunker
In regards to Kimmy's life in season two, Fey said that Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) "would love to believe that it’s entirely behind her because of the trial," but it's not. That makes sense (of course it wouldn't be) and gives us hope that we'll see Kimmy's funny bunker-mates like Sara Chase and — fingers crossed! — Jon Hamm as Richard Wayne Gary Wayne again. Further, Fey said Kimmy will "continue to open her eyes up to the world."

Kimmy Gets a Christmas-Themed Job
We saw Kemper shooting in full Elf regalia last year, which was revealed to be for her new job in the season two trailer.

Creator Tina Fey is getting in front of the camera in season two, as we all saw in these set pictures. She was also in season one, of course, but she is playing a different character: a therapist named Andrea.
