Whenever Tilda Swinton's name is attached to a project, chances are good that I'll want to see it. This can definitely be said for I Am Love, Swinton's upcoming film that takes us to Milan. Not much is known about the plot other than the words "tragic love story" but after viewing the trailer, I don't need more. Let's face the facts: everything is better in Italian. The language, the colors, the architecture, the food; and the preview embraces these elements to lure us into Swinton's story.
Most of the trailer is strictly images and an increasingly intense score, but I'll be there for what looks like an artsy and visually gorgeous good time. (Not to mention that Italy could use a bit of a boost after Nine bombed). See for yourself when you
