ALSW 8 years I thought House should have had it. Linda-McP 8 years Well deserved win. A nice tribute to the acting, directing, writing, producing--and all else. liola 8 years after so many phenomenal seasons, how could it not go to the sopranos? i think its a bit premature to say heroes deserve the win, i agree the acting is somewhat cheesy, and actually i always considered the idea a rip off of the 4400. sopranos has been consistently original, groundbreaking, current and relevant to so many ages and aspects of the issues we face today. with that nice blend of culture and violence, a beautiful mix that deserved this award without a doubt, as well as the others it was snubbed for. mcpro26 8 years I was a little questionable about the last season of sopranos but it is good to give them their last emmy because next year it will be heroes, or greys, or even house dmblauren 8 years heroes should have won jenintx 8 years honestly, i love heroes, but i don't think it's particularly deserving of the emmy, unless hype and ratings drive the emmys (which, it might, actually). the show isn't particularly well-acted. it's almost cheesy in that respect. grey's, another of my favorites, was way sub-par this season. i'm not even sure it deserved the nod. i don't watch the remaining three, but i think they made a good choice with the sopranos. Song-Bird 8 years To be honest, I'm sincerely upset that Heroes didn't win. To me, it seemed like The Sopranos only got it because of their status as a legendary series which had its end this year. I'm pissed and not happy with this choice at all. Heroes not winning anything just seems like an INSULT to me. These Emmy Awards were full of surprises - BAD surprises, if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, I love Jaime Pressly, but in THIS category, she was by far my last choice. The only thing that positively surprised me was the major BRITISH win this year. Ricky Gervais as best lead actor surprised me, but I'm really happy about it, it's time for him to get the appreciation he needs outside the UK as well! kapchis 8 years I love Heroes but I think it has its niche audience (of geeks like me), so it may never be a winner. I can't stand Grey's Anatomy, but it seems to have mass appeal to the younger set. Like I've said before: who under 50 actually watches Boston Legal? House and The Sopranos seem to have all ages covered and mass appeal. I think The Sopranos has consistantly superb writing and execution (no pun intended). It seems like the likely winner. House will win next year if Lost doesn't step it up. lala788 8 years i disagree , i think other show should have won like :house or heroes Phil 8 years I honestly could've gone with any of the shows. But this really is not a surprise, and a much deserved win! What a way to close out its final season!
