Is Sansa Pregnant? This Theory Makes a Heck of a Lot of Sense

Which "Office" Character Should Have a Spinoff?

Which "Office" Character Should Have a Spinoff?

Recently there was a laughably vague rumor that Dwight on "The Office" would be getting his own spinoff show. Soon after, "a source close to Rainn Wilson" was quoted calling the rumor "complete farce." But it got me thinking: If there were a spinoff focusing on one supporting character from the show, which character should it be?

however, to be totally honest... none of them. the genius of the office is how well they work together

Ryan... it is already set up with the season finale.

they'll probably tie him in the same way they brought Jan in previously.

I wouldn't want to change it up at all...although I voted Ryan, (spoiler) since how are they going to tie him in with the show when he's in NYC?

Too much Dwight, is a bad thing...

Haha Creed....remember when he caught the fish on their camping trip with bare hands?

The Office is going really bad here in Australia (I think it was dropped), yet everywhere else it's going great. Haha.

I love creed so much. Remember when he "introduced himself" to meredith in the third season?

I vote for no spinoffs; the cast is just to great as is.

Creed would make an awesome character for a spinoff. I always feel like there's so much going on with him that we just have no clue about. I also think Kelly could make for a pretty funn spinoff.

Creed! I need to know what his deal is! :)

Andy is missing too, so maybe it is just the original Scranton branch.

Why wasn't Karen a choice?

wow. i can't believe how hard it was to answer this hypothetical. no joke. i think it took me 5 minutes. i'm SO glad the rumor was laughable. i don't think i'd watch a spin-off of any. i don't think they're strong enough by themselves / out of THE office context.

Good Question! I like the Creed idea. Not so crazy about the Dwight one. I love the character, but for some reason I think he should stay where he is. Creed could be wonderfully weird, I think Dwight might be predictable? I'm rambling...

I wouldn't mind seeing what Dwight does in his off-time. Provided he runs into his co-workers ;0)

None of them! They all are strong when they are together. I don't think one person can hold their own.

Don't forget making fake IDs, Whip! :rotfl:

None. It is an ensemble show - the reason it has done so well is because of the strong group dynamics and the way the characters react to and with one another.

I would LOVE a Creed spinoff :)

I agree 100%, Jen. We could watch him steal stuff, forget stuff, play his guitar, ogle women, and take lots of drugs. It would be so enjoyable.

Definitely Creed. It wouldn't make sense to spin off Jim or Dwight since they're so central to every episode. As much as I love some of the other characters, Creed would be the only one has an interesting enough life outside the Office to be worth watching.

A Dwight spinoff would be cool, but I wouldn't want him to leave - he's too important to the show. Creed should have his own show. I'd TOTALLY watch that.
