This Scream Queens Baby Theory Has Pretty Much Been Proven

Now that brand-new Fall drama Scream Queens has premiered, we're already obsessed with figuring out who the killer is. But that's not the only mystery of season one we're thinking about — what about the baby? We got some recent info week that indicates that Grace is, in fact, that baby, and even she is starting to believe it.

The series kicks off 20 years prior, in Kappa Kappa Tau house in the '90s, and we watch as several cold sorority sisters let a freshman pledge bleed to death after having given birth (it was a superfun party, though). The baby lives, though, and then we fast forward to the shenanigans of present day, where a serial killer known only as the "Red Devil" stalks the college campus. These two things — the baby and the murderer — are obviously connected, and with the new info revealed in this week's episode, we're putting it all together here.

Theory: Grace is the baby.

Theory: Grace is the baby.

It makes so much sense that Grace is the '90s sorority tub baby. Her mom, whom she says died when she was 2, had been in Kappa, which is the whole reason she joins: to feel closer to her mom. Yes, she says her mom died when she was 2, not while giving birth to her, but that could be a lie her father told her. Maybe he didn't want his daughter to know that her birth was part of such a horrific story, so he lied to her about the circumstances — and her age. Two years is not that big of a deal to lose.

Now we know that Grace's mom supposedly died in a fire, and her birth certificate was destroyed — leading her to believe herself that she's the baby.

Her dad is the right age.

Her dad is the right age.

Let's say Grace's mom, a college freshman, was dating a fellow 18-year-old college freshman. That would make the baby's dad 38 years old, and actor Oliver Hudson just turned 39. If Grace is the bathtub baby, it would also explain why he hates sororities so much and doesn't want Grace involved in one.

Also, we're pretty sure that Grace was sheltered by Gigi for a while, so what if Wes isn't even Grace's biological dad? What if he's her adoptive father and never told her about it, or worse — what if he kidnapped her?

It might also make Wes the killer.

It might also make Wes the killer.

That same hatred is also a motive. A crazed Wes could be exacting his revenge 20 years later, with a plan that's now slightly messed up by his daughter joining the sorority he's targeting. Or maybe it's perfect, because her being on campus is the perfect excuse for him to be at the school at all times.

This could explain why Dean Munsch says Grace isn't in danger.

This could explain why Dean Munsch says Grace isn't in danger.

Say Wes isn't the killer, and Dean Munsch is — or she's in on it. She has assured Wes that Grace isn't in danger — because of course she wouldn't be if she's the baby. Remember: Dean Munsch was there the night the baby was born, and would know more about what happened to the child later. The present-day killing has to be linked with the baby, and whoever is the murderer is out for revenge.

What about Gigi?

What about Gigi?

Gigi gets involved at a very interesting time: when Grace enrolls in school and rushes the sorority. Gigi has already said she had a "traumatic experience in the '90s" that caused her to be stuck there mentally (including her sense of fashion). I think that means she's the sister who is holding the baby when the mother dies. It's possible she took care of the baby as the "Hag on Shady Lane" after she watched Grace's birth and her mother's death on the same night. That could explain why she's at Kappa now . . . and it could make her the killer.

And maybe that's why Gigi is getting close to Wes.
Fox

And maybe that's why Gigi is getting close to Wes.

Yes, Wes is sexy, but Gigi could have an ulterior motive for hitting on Wes. What if she remembers him from college as the father of her sorority sister's child? If they haven't seen each other in 20 years, that could be why he thinks he's never met her before.

Or Grace could be the killer.
Fox

Or Grace could be the killer.

Maybe Grace already knew she's the baby, and the killing is her revenge plot to get back at the people who let her mother die. But given that Grace has seen the Red Devil, it's unlikely that Grace is a suspect, whoever she really is.
