yay for The Office! I really think Steve Carell deserved the Emmy so much more than Ricky Gervais! And yay for Grey's and Betty!

Another yay for Michael C. Hall! I love Dexter (and he was great on SFU too)

No noms for Atonement! Wow. Also, can someone please recognize Christian Bale? His performance in Rescue Dawn was amazing. As a matter of fact, Steve Zahn and the rest of that cast were all phenominal as well. They definitely deserved an ensemble recognition. But, with so few slots available for nominations it is inevitable that some will be left out.

Michael C. Hall, Dexter; Jon Hamm, Mad Men; Hugh Laurie, House--what a great group of nominees for Best Actor in a Drama Series. They all get my vote!

Today on the news they were talking about all of these "snubs" for films/actors that were nominated for Golden Globes but not nominated for SAG awards. I thought it was funny, because the Globes divide the awards between Comedy & Drama, so twice as many films and actors get nominated. So, of course there are going to be people that were nominated for Globes but not for SAG! Jillness - I agree thought that I would have liked to see more love for Juno. There were some outstanding performances.

i haven't seen into the wild, but i've heard amazing things about it, so i'm SO glad it got some love. i am, however, distraught about SAG overlooking Lost AGAIN (stunts don't count)! but...at least they got the movie part right (much better than the GGs).

Yay! Finally some love for Into the Wild (thanks for nothing, Golden Globes). This gets it one step closer to the Oscars!! Now, if only Josh Brolin would get a nomination, all would be well.
