Are you excited for a time-bending romance to make you cry this Valentine's Day? Colin Farrell stars in the trailer for Winter's Tale, a fantasy movie not to be confused with Shakespeare's classic play. Farrell is Peter Lake, a man who exists in modern Manhattan but doesn't have a clue about who he is or where he comes from. His only tie to his past is that he recognizes a woman (Downton Abbey's Jessica Brown Findlay) from a photograph taken in the 19th century. You won't see all the film's big names (like Will Smith) in the trailer, but you will see Jennifer Connelly as a woman who befriends Peter and Russell Crowe as the scoundrel prepared to take him down.
There's a lot going on here, and I'm unclear where it's all headed. He's a thief, she's dying, and there's a white horse involved. I do love seeing Findlay, but I'm wondering how much time the movie will spend in the past. Is he immortal? I'm confused. The movie is due out on Valentine's Day, and you can watch the trailer after the jump.
