Would You Go to See an "X-Files" Sequel?

Yesterday there came news of a sequel to the first X-Files movie (which I'm betting some of you didn't know about the first time around) getting a script. Five years after the TV series ended, would you be interested in seeing it?

bleu skittle, they did get together towards the end of the show. But they never SHOWED anything, those bastards!!! They just kept hinting that it happened, and then finally it was like, "Oh look, they had a baby! Gee, wonder how that happened..." SOOOOO FRUSTRATING!!!

Fight the Future didn't come out until after season 5 which means that it would have nothing to do with Scully's baby. Unless you're speaking of Emily who was dead well before season 5 ended and the movie came. As for the X-files mythology, it was no more complicated than Heroes or what 24 did in season 5. It's not as intricate and detailed as Lost or even as Arrested Development was. Yes, implementing bees and pollen as the carrier for the alien virus is a bit of a stretch, but how far off is it from a space-time fluxuation causing David Duchovny and Michael McKean to switch bodies? Or Mikhail constantly coming back to life on Lost? Maybe Mikhail is a superhuman.

Heck yes I would! I miss that series (even though sometimes I would get scared and temporarily have to change the channel) and liked the movie.

Of course!! It would bring back so many good memories. And Mulder... I just melt.

The show got so convoluted and dumb that the 1st movie didn't answer most questions. (Like why did everyone in the universe seem to think Scully's baby was some godsend? It seemed that it was just a "regular" baby? Bees and corn? Oily eyes? Cigarette Smoking Man as Mulder's dad? It was a mess.) Seems like a little late in the game, but they are ahead of Sex & The City...
