Will You Keep Watching the World Cup If USA Is Eliminated?

Will You Keep Watching the World Cup If US Is Eliminated?

After the beyond-exciting goal in the last three minutes of the World Cup match between USA and Algeria on Wednesday, I am officially pumped for the second round to start tomorrow. I was admittedly a bit intimidated by Word Cup viewing parties at first, but the US team's success story has got me hooked. That said, a lot of my newfound love for football is rooted in my home team. I'll still be interested to see who advances in the tournament, but I'm not sure if my devotion will wane if the US is eliminated tomorrow. What's your stance — will you continue watching even if team USA doesn't advance?

Absolutely will keep watching. I've rooted for the USA for years and while it'd be disappointing that they leave, it was a good run. There are surprises and new countries to root for. Other than that, Go USA!

I cried after wednesday's game! After watching TWO goals being stolen from the U.S., it was so emotional to see them pull through. that being said, I will keep watching because my bf is SO into it and because most of these teams are awesome to watch.

I love soccer and I will watch just because. Most of the teams are good and make the game exciting so of course, I will continue watching. Still... GO TEAM USA! =)

I don't watch it now anyway.... although everywhere I go there it is... I can't escape!!! I live in a city where the majority of people are hispanic of some sort and in the specific area I live it's like predominately South American (Brazilian, Argentinian, and Venezuelan seem to be the majority) so it's really EVERYWHERE I go..... I think Soccer is so boring... I really don't understand the appeal, never have. However, despite my disdain towards this sport, I'm hoping Brazil wins (I'm not rooting for USA and I don't think we stand a chance... we'll be out soon)

Yeah Team USA first and then Team England for me. I want the US to go as far as possible (I usually want the whole match or highlights) but if they get knocked out I may just watch the Final.

I'm not even for Team USA. I'm rooting for England and Spain.
