Will You See the Michael Jackson Movie in Theaters?

A film built around rehearsal footage from just before Michael Jackson's death will be released in theaters for two weeks starting Oct. 28. Tickets for the movie, titled Michael Jackson: This Is It and directed by Kenny Ortega, will go on sale Sept. 27. About the film, Ortega says:

This film is Michael's gift to his fans. It's a very private, exclusive look into a creative genius's world. For the first time ever, fans will see Michael as they have never seen him before — this great artist at work. It is raw, emotional, moving, and powerful footage that captures his interactions with the This Is It collaborators that he had personally assembled for this once-in-a-lifetime project.

Do you think you'll seek this in theaters at the end of October?

NO. I have had my share of Michael Jackson to last me for a while. I am sad that he died but it is time to move on. If I have to watch one more television segment about his death being a homicide I am going to pull my hair out. I would consider watching in the long away future after people have stop talking about him for a while.
