The Modern Family Cast Celebrates Halloween Really Early

The Modern Family cast got a head start on Halloween this week when they filmed scenes for their their annual spooky-themed episode in LA. Sofia Vergara grabbed the most attention in her Princess Fiona costume from Shrek, and her new look proved to be a hit with her boyfriend, Joe Manganiello, who dropped by the set to chat and show PDA with his love. Meanwhile, Ed O'Neill donned a late 18th century ensemble, while Julie Bowen and her onscreen kids looked like scary hospital workers and patients. However, Ty Burrell avoided the scary patient theme that the rest of his onscreen family was going for and instead wore a colorful rainbow suit. As for what exactly is going on in the pictures, we'll have to wait for the show to air to get the full picture. In the meantime, Modern Family fans can get their fix by checking out pictures for the show's sixth season premiere, which will air on Sept. 24.
