20 Options For Your Coolest X-Men Costume Ever

The X-Men franchise has some of the most unique characters in the cinematic world, meaning you're almost guaranteed to find a costume you like. Since X-Men: Apocalypse came out last year, the mutants have been back in the spotlight — along with a slew of young versions of the characters. If you're thinking you'd rather be Famke Janssen over Sophie Turner any day, you're in luck! (Though, come on, Sophie Turner is awesome.) We're providing both versions of the characters who have had two incarnations. Take a look!

Professor X, Patrick Stewart Edition

  • What to wear: Aside from a wheelchair, you'll need a classic black suit, a white button-down, and a tie. Also consider getting a bald cap.

Magneto, Ian McKellen Edition
Everett Collection

Magneto, Ian McKellen Edition

  • What to wear: An all-black ensemble with touches of red. You'll definitely need a cape and gloves.

13
Mystique, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos Edition
Everett Collection

Mystique, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos Edition

  • What to wear: I hope you're not allergic to latex. Then again, if you don't know a makeup artist who can deck you out in head-to-toe blue, just go to a costume store, get a blue bodysuit, and draw on some weird scales. You'll also need a red wig and yellow contacts.
  • How to act: You're Magneto's right-hand woman, and you would do anything for him. You can also shapeshift into other people. Again, don't try this at a Halloween party. It would be weird.
