And Just Like That: Check Out the Full Cast (So Far) For the Sex and the City Reboot

The HBO Max revival of Sex and the City, officially titled And Just Like That..., is set to begin production this summer, and it'll be bringing some of your favorite characters back to TV several years since we first saw them! The big news, of course, is that one of the original quartet of stars will not be returning: Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones and who famously has not had great relationships with her former SATC costars, will be sitting this one out.

However, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis are all slated to return, along with other old familiar faces and new characters. So far, only a few people have been confirmed as part of the cast — check them out here, then speculate away at who else might put in an appearance!

Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw

Parker will return to lead the series as Carrie, the sex columnist whose exploits formed the famous narration of the original series. In recent years, Parker has stayed in the HBO family, producing and starring in a dramedy, Divorce, from 2016 to 2019. Last year, she and husband Matthew Broderick were supposed to costar in a revival of the play Plaza Suite on Broadway, but the production has been delayed until at least later in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nixon will bring strong-willed Miranda back to life for the new series. She was most recently seen in the Netflix series Ratched, but in recent years, she's been focusing more on her career in politics and activism. Her bid for New York governor failed in 2018, but she's continued working for the causes close to her heart, including LGBTQ+ rights, addressing income inequality, criminal-justice reform, and more.

Davis, as Charlotte, will complete the trio of original stars who have chosen to return for the new series. She's spent much of the last several years working more on stage than on screen, although she did star in a 2019 holiday romance, Holiday in the Wild, and in the 2021 thriller Deadly Illusions.

Ramírez is the first big-name addition to the sequel series cast. The Grey's Anatomy vet is set to play Che Diaz, a nonbinary, queer comedian who hosts a podcast that Carrie often appears on. According to Deadline, Che is "a big presence with a big heart whose outrageous sense of humor and progressive, human overview of gender roles has made them and their podcast very popular."

On May 26, Deadline reported that Noth would reprise his role as Mr. Big, despite earlier rumors that he would not be returning for the Sex and the City sequel series. "I'm thrilled to be working with Chris again on And Just Like That...," executive producer Michael Patrick King said in a statement. "How could we ever do a new chapter of the Sex And The City story without our Mr. Big?"
