Walt Disney World Just Upped Its Annual Pass Prices — Here's What You Need to Know

Although Walt Disney World is without question the most magical place on earth, the price to visit the Florida theme park can be far less magical for anyone on a budget. And, it's not getting any cheaper. Disney World has just released new annual pass prices for 2020 that affect both Florida and non-Florida residents. So far no updates to the standard park ticket prices, although Disneyland did raise its prices.

Here's the 2020 ticket price breakdown:

4-Park Magic Ticket ($85 to $102)

  • Admission to four theme parks, one park per day. Price depends on how busy park will be on date of visit.
  • 4-Park Magic Ticket With Water Park and NBA Experience: additional $40 per ticket

1 Park Per Day ($109 to $159)

  • Single day admission to one park. Price depends on how busy park will be on date of visit.

Park Hopper Option

  • Admission to multiple theme parks each day.
  • Additional $65 per ticket for 1-day ticket
  • Additional $75 per ticket for 2- to 3-day tickets
  • Additional $85 per ticket for 4- to 10-day tickets

Park Hopper Plus Option

  • Admission to multiple theme parks each day and includes certain number of visits to a water park or other Walt Disney World sports-related fun.
  • Additional $85 per ticket for 1-day ticket
  • Additional $95 per ticket for 2- to 3-day tickets
  • Additional $105 per ticket for 4- to 10-day tickets

Water Park and Sports Option

  • Includes certain number of visits to a water park or other Walt Disney World sports-related fun.
  • Additional $70 per ticket

Here's the 2020 annual pass breakdown:

Disney Premier ($100 increase)

  • Access to all Disneyland and Walt Disney World parks, no block-out dates. Complimentary parking and Disney MaxPass are included.
  • 2019: $2,099
  • 2020: $2,199

Disney Platinum Plus Pass ($76 increase)

  • Access to all four theme parks, two Disney water parks, ESPN sports complex, and Disney's Oak Trail golf course. Complimentary parking and park hopping is included.
  • 2019: $1,219
  • 2020: $1,295

*remains $999 for Florida residents

Disney Platinum Pass ($76 increase)

  • Access to all four theme parks for a year. Park hopping is included.
  • 2019: $1,119
  • 2020: $1,195

*remains $899 for Florida residents

Disney Gold Pass ($20 increase)

  • For Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members only, it allows access to all four theme parks during certain times of the year. Complimentary parking and park hopping is included.
  • 2019: $699
  • 2020: $719

Disney Silver Pass ($20 increase)

  • For Florida residents only, it allows access to all four theme parks during certain times of the year, as well as complimentary parking.
  • 2019: $519
  • 2020: $539

Disney Theme Park Select Pass (no increase)

  • For Florida residents only, it allows access to all four theme parks during certain times of the year, as well as complimentary parking. Offers admission to at least one theme park on more days annually compared to Silver Pass.
  • 2019: $439
  • 2020: $439

Disney Weekday Select Pass ($20 increase)

  • For Florida residents only, allows one year of weekday-only access to all four theme parks during certain times of the year. Park hopping and complimentary parking is included.
  • 2019: $349
  • 2020: $369

Disney Epcot After Four Pass ($10 increase)

  • For Florida residents only, it allows guests one-year admission to Epcot after 4pm. Complimentary parking is included.
  • 2019: $309
  • 2020: $319

Meanwhile, the Water Parks Annual Pass and Water Parks After Two Pass prices remained the same. The last annual pass price increase Disney World underwent was in June of 2019, while the last ticket price increase was in March 2019. It's safe to say if you want to take a trip to Disney World, and even Disneyland, time is of the essence. Let's just hope these new prices mean fewer crowds!
