>> Last night in London's Kensington Gardens, Burberry and Christopher Bailey co-hosted the Serpentine Gallery's annual fundraising bash, The Summer Party. Burberry was of course well-represented by brand faces past and present — Cara Delevingne, Lily Donaldson, Alexa Chung, and Jourdan Dunn.
Dunn, for her part, is going on two seasons as the face of the brand: "I love working for Burberry. It's like a family, Christopher is amazing — he's so easy to talk to." She added that she's been commuting between her family's home in London and a pad in New York, and that modeling hasn't changed her life that much: "I'm pretty normal, I still live at home and my mum and brothers wouldn't let me think I'm better than I am. I was at home yesterday and my mum was making me work in the garden with the others — she wouldn't take much notice if I was to say, 'Um, excuse me, do you not realise that yesterday I was shooting for Vogue?' My family keep me grounded, which I'm pleased about — fashion can be a pretty intimidating place."
Bailey, meanwhile, noted of the event: “We are proud to be continuing the Burberry history of supporting the arts. It is particularly exciting to be working with the Serpentine Gallery a space synonymous with creativity in a very iconic British location.”
