3 Ways to Wear Yellow Denim

One Pair of Yellow Jeans 3 Ways

Colored denim is definitely the jean du jour, so for today's Ways to Wear, we styled a pair of bright yellow Rag & Bone jeans three chic ways. We've spotted colored denim on some of our favorite style setters, like Rachel Bilson and Zoe Saldana, and seen this vibrant canary hue grace the runways at Proenza Schouler and Jason Wu — now we're heading to Barneys New York in Beverly Hills to try out the trend for ourselves. Whether you're looking for the perfect transitional outfit or feeling daring enough to try bright on bright, we hope these outfits inspire you to scoop up some colored denim for your own look now.

Hey guys, it's Allison McNamara, and today I'm going to show you three cool ways to wear yellow denim. We spotted colored jeans on celebrities, like Jessica Alba, Zoe Saldana and Kate Hudson, and yellow was a huge color trend for next season. On runway that [xx],Jason Woo and Oscar DeLaurenta. So today I'm here at Barney's New York in Beverly Hills and the canvas for all the looks you're going to see are these yellow ragon bone jeans, Watch to see how we styles this vibrant cue, for so many different occasions. Mustard and navy look great together So, for our first look, we selected a navy floral print blouse that we buttoned the entire way to the top to keep it polished. We layered on a gray sweater to expose just a little bit of the collar. Then we wanted to toughen up our preppie base, so we added on a leather jacket with a feminine ruffle. Don't be afraid to mix black and yellow together as long as you stay away from stripes, you won't look like a bumblebee. We finished off the outfit with a textured black bootie and a really simple silver necklace. An easy way to tone down your yellow denim for day is to mix it with neutrals you started with a pretty white blouse. Something that you probably already have in your closet, and then layered on a grey chunky vest on top of that. We added in this pig skin belt cinch in her waist and give the look and shape. Plus it adds in some really nice texture. We contrasted our yellow denim with a maroon day bag and finished off the outfit with brown suede Pizzo booties and added some sparkle with a statement cocktail ring. For our final look we really pushed the color wheel by mixing our mustard pants with an electric blue Moto jacket. Color is hotter than ever right now, and this is a really fun take on color blocking. Since we paired it with such bright separates, we kept the top simple and sexy with a loose white tank we elevated the outfit with a pyramid bag and a mirrored black shoe, which is perfect for a night out. We hope these outfits inspire you to swap out your regular denim for a pair of mustard yellow jeans. I'm Allison McNamara. See you next time on Fab Sugar TV.
