Hey, it's Allison McNamara and you're watching Fab Flash Oscar edition. Last night celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Jessica Chastain and Rose Byrne, hit the red carpet in textured black gowns. From velvet to sequins to beaded brocade, these ladies updated their go-to LBDs with intriguing details. Angelina Jolie really amped up the wow factor in this sexy strapless velvet dress by Atelier Versace, a designer she also worn at the Golden Globes this year. The stunning, thigh-high split showed off her slim legs and she [xx] off her stunning ensemble with peep toe pump, lose and a coral red lip. Next up we had Jessica Chastain who looked absolutely gorgeous in a custom black and gold Alexander McQueen Organza gown. The gold baroqued beading was done by hand, resulting in this intricate design. Not to mention, she also wore 2 million dollars in Harry Winston diamonds. Last, but definitely not least, Rose Byrne turned heads in a shimmery black Vivian Westwood dress. She opted for a one-shoulder body-hugging gown made entirely out of sequins. Which she paired with Pete Chu pumps, her thick retro bangs and Chanel drop earrings. So, take a cue from these stylish leading ladies and opt for a black dress dress with texture, like velvet or sequins. Which look was your favorite from the Academy Awards? Let us know. I'm Allison McNamara and I'll see you next time on Fab Flash, on FabSugar TV.
