We kicked off Fashion Week at the BCBG runway show, where we spotted sumptuous fur jackets and vests juxtaposed against silky colorblocked chiffon dresses. Backstage, Max Azria told us about his Fall 2012 collection, when he first fell in love with fashion, and how he's relaxing after all of his shows have wrapped — it's all in today's Fab Flash. Hi. It's Alison McNamara and you're watching FabFlash at New York Fashion Week. Today we kicked off fashion week backstage at the BCBG Show where designer Max Azria told us when he first fell in love with fashion. I start fashion when I was 15, so it's a long time ago. I love my relationship with woman, and to walk with them Always a pleasure. BCBG's Fall 2012 collection juxtaposed rich fur jackets over color block chiffon dresses and was full of standout oversize clutches, and surprisingly for winter, there was no shortage of color. What are three words to describe your fall collection? Longer look, asymmetry print, cool and relax. And after all of the Fashion Week madness is over, designer plans to get a little sun. Basically, I need to go to the sun and to the beach, but I think I have a lot of work so I have to go back to my office. Make sure to stay tuned for all of our New York Fashion Week coverage. I'm Allison McNamara and I'll see you next time on Fab Flash on Fab Sugar TV.
