Lubov Azria's trip to the Coachella music festival in April became a touch point for her Resort 2014 collection, which is filled with the kind of flirty, bohemian garments all the cool girls wear in Indio. (To be fair, they're also the kind of garments girls probably would have worn to New York's Governors Ball if rain hadn't turned Randall's Island into one big mud pit.)
But next year, if clearer skies allow it, we wouldn't be surprised to see Azria's khaki romper or patchwork bomber jacket strolling around the grounds at both festivals, and the many handkerchief-hem dresses wouldn't be out of place either. Another romper, which combines floral short shorts and a strappy bustier, would look right at home on a performer like Azealia Banks.
There are a few more business-like pieces in this collection, though, like a gray shift dress accentuated with a drawstring waist, and a sleeveless white jumpsuit with patch pockets.
