After Rosie Huntington-Whiteley walked Balmain's Fall 2014 show, she snapped a photo with Olivier Rousteing, Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, and Karlie Kloss that was simply titled "warriors." The sentiment was simple and perfect, because we can think of no better way to describe Rousteing's tough as nails crew.
Storming the runway of Hotel de Ville, Balmain's wicker and leather got military aid from an army green and khaki palette. And even when the hues weren't literal, as was the case with pops of bright orange and cobalt, the reference was still clear. In the closing moments, Rousteing made us want to go on a safari expedition of his highly detailed designs — leopard and zebra animal prints were strong but had nothing on those woven and braided designs. And, with Rihanna sitting front row, we know we'll have a chance to see at least a few of these pieces in the wild!
