With creative director Marissa Webb at the helm, Banana Republic's future looks particularly bright — and not just because the Summer 2015 collection is designed in bold, primary colors. The pops of cobalt and canary are peppy and cooler, but cooler still thanks to the inclusion of leather juxtaposed with eyelet or a utilitarian moto jacket thrown over an easy knit and soft, midlength skirt. Layers are executed with cool-girl precision, and if you think the clothes are good, look carefully at the accessories, too. The bag and shoe game is on point with selections ranging from ankle-strap pumps to more statement-making lace-up heels, leather backpacks, bucket bags, and a circular crossbody bag you could easily carry wherever you go.
