Are You Prepared For a Fashion Overload?

Jul 13 2014 - 8:00am

Too much is never enough; at least that rule seemed to be the case for some of our favorite style stars this week. When it came to piling on the patterns and embellishments, Charlize Theron [1], Nicola Peltz, Kim Kardashian [2], and Emma Watson [3] had no problem going for the gold (quite literally, in Charlize's case). And though some, like Jennifer Lawrence [4], erred on the side of caution, the effect was equally stunning across the board. See all the looks we loved on some very chic ladies.

Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson [5] knew there's no such thing as too much embellishment when she arrived for the Armani Privé show [6].

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian [7] went wild for both textures and patterns when she wore Balmain [8]'s safari style to the Vogue Paris Foundation event.

Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz [9] proved a jumpsuit can be as glitzy as a gown when she wore Stella McCartney [10]'s embellished style on the LA red carpet for Sex Tape.

Emma Watson

Though she was business on the top, Emma Watson [11]'s design was a party down below at the Dior runway show.

Charlize Theron

Golden girl Charlize Theron [12] matched her bronze glow to a luxurious mini while sitting front row at Christian Dior Haute Couture [13].

Nicola Peltz

Newcomer Nicola Peltz has stood out in the past for more minimalist fare [14], but this week she dared to go bolder in Louis Vuitton [15] at the New York screening of Affluenza.

Isla Fisher

Isla Fisher [16] had a sweeter take on the trend when she arrived for the Miu Miu [17] resort show in the label's pretty pastel shift that was adorned with crystals appliques.

Nina Dobrev

Nina Dobrev [18] took a break from the runway [19] in a pretty abstract Elie Saab [20] gown while out in Paris for a Bulgari [21] event.

Jennifer Lawrence

Dior devotee Jennifer Lawrence [22] had one of the week's more modest applications of print when she sat front row at the label's Haute Couture show.

Diane Kruger

Once again, Diane Kruger [23] ruled the week, because when it comes to prints, she blew us away in Mary Katrantzou [24]'s sheath on the red carpet for The Bridge.
