Who Was the Night's Best Dressed at the MTV VMAs?

The stars often use the wild red carpet at the MTV VMAs as an excuse to push boundaries and prioritize shock value. Still, we were pleasantly surprised with the sartorial showing from the night's most stylish stars.

Beyoncé made quite an entrance in a black lace and beaded geometric Nicolas Jebran dress, while Nina Dobrev chose a sleeveless coral and black silk draped gown designed by Zuhair Murad. Gwen Stefani looked positively perfect in a L.A.M.B. hot pink top and matching trousers. Also adding interest was Kim Kardashian in a printed beaded Balmain minidress with a deep-V neckline and Solange Knowles in a boxy tuxedo (you won't believe how much it cost). All the bold looks were winners in our book, but who takes top prize?
