Hi, it's Allison McNamara, and welcome back to Fab Flash. The Costume Institute Gala is almost here, fashion's biggest night, and we can't wait to see with everyone wears on the red carpet. To get you excited, we rounded up our ten favorite looks from past galas. Take a look and see who made our list. In 2010, Anne Hathaway looked like a fairy tale princess in this nude Valentino ball gown with gorgeous sequin embellishing on the sweetheart-style bodice that cascades down to the jewelled curves. She accessorized her look with large cocktail ring and necklace by Bulgari. Most ladies choose to wear floor-length gowns to the Met, but not Blake Lively. In 2012, she showed off her tan and toned legs in this ruffled one shoulder mini by Marchesa. I'm not sure if anyone's actually looking at her feet, but on bottom she selected clear and black heels shoes by her favorite shoe designer, Christian Louboutin. In 2007, Cameron Diaz stunned in this eye-popping fuschia gown by John Galliano for Christian Dior. She complemented the strapless tiered dress with large turquoise jewelery. This color combo is so fresh. Christina Ricci is always one to take chances on the red carpet. In 2008, she selected this Givenchy haute couture gown, with a satin red bodice and frothy pink tulle overlay. The off-the-shoulder gown is daring, but what better place to take a fashion risk than the Met Ball. Long before Angelina Jolie's leg at the Oscars, there was Diane Kruger's leg at the 2011 Met Ball. And we think she pulled it off without a hitch. She chose a black and nude long sleeve Jason Wu dress, with gorgeous silver embellishing on the top and a sexy thigh high slit. It's no secret that Gisele Bundchen look amazing in just about everything but she stole the night in this cut-out Versace gown shade of pastel pink. The gown shows off her incredible figure and she accessorized with a simple bangle and drop earrings. Jennifer Lopez looked fabulous in this chiffon fuchsia gown by Gucci in 2011. The high halter neckline is balanced out with a cutout in the middle, and the flower shawl adds in a touch of whimsy that we love. Kate Hudson is a long time fan and friend of Stella McCartney. And she's worn her designs several times on the Met Ball red carpet. Our favorite is definitely this shimmery gold, metal haltered dress with a low front slit she wore in 2009. She looked like a golden goddess. Kate Moss attended the Met Ball alongside Marc Jacobs in his gorgeous, monochromatic, metallic, one shoulder frock with a dramatic waterfall in back. She furthered the Grecian feel with a turban, which can be hard to wear, but Kate totally pulled The only thing better than wearing a queen is getting to wear it alongside the designer himself, and Sarah Jessica Parker did just that in 2006 where the duo arrived in matching tartan print. SJP's tea length one shoulder dress is complete with a nude tulle skirt and embroidered bodice underneath a standout tartan overlay. Now you seen all our top 10, tell us which one you like best. And make sure to come back here for all of our coverage Met Ball on FabSugar. I'm Allison McNamara. See you next time on Fab Flash.
