Hi. It's Allision McNamara and you're watching Fab Flash. Today, I talked to Christian Louboutin, here at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills, he launched a special shoe collection to celebrate 20 years of designing gorgeous red soles. It does represent twenty years of my work. I started twenty years ago, so it's a bit of a mix of those twenty years. Shoes reminding me of a very specific moment. Shoes reminding me specific people and that also, the love that I have for handicraft, artisana, showgirls, musical girls This capsule collection incorporates all things signature Christian Louboutin, including super high platforms, spikes, and burlesque-inspired details. But, surprisingly enough, Mr. Louboutin was Never really interested in fashion. I never really wanted to work for fashion. I mean as a teenager, I wanted to design shoe but I didn't want to work for fashion. I didn't even know about fashion I wanted to for showgirls and the first love I had is when I was a teenager, I would always go sneak inside different music hall in Paris and see some showgirls. First being, I was, what I was thinking, I wanna do shoes for these girls. And so, I've been basically, quite slightly obsessed by that since I'm a teenager. But when he's not designing super sexy high heals, he told me he likes to do the trapeze. There's one thing I've been doing for long time, for seven years, which is trapeze. Whoa, OK. So are you good at trapeze? I'm good on the trapeze. I'm less good than I used to be, but I'm good on trapeze. And the trapeze isn't Christian Louboutin only hidden talent. And I heard that you can look at somebody and see their shoe personality? So, when you look at my face what is my shoe I'm not lying. I've looked at your shoes. You showed me your shoes. So, I cannot say. So, I'm too influenced now but what I've been seeing. But, I would say, yeah pretty much correspond to your shoes. As if talking to Mr. Louboutin wasn't enough of a treat, he even signed my very first pair of Christian Louboutin.Make sure to check out the entire capsule collection. I'm Allison McNamara and I'll see you next time on Fab Flash on Fab Sugar TV.
