Come Fab Finding With Me: Post-Baby Fall Wardrobe

Having a baby is hard enough; finding fashionable post-baby clothes is another story! Our Fab reader mon_in_hdg went through the adventure of delivering a child and now she's looking for affordable post-baby gear for Fall in a size 10.

It's important to note that she's nursing and will need some sort of breast-access for her daughter. Oh, and she refuses to wear "transition" clothes that maternity lines are marketing. I'll start you off with these Hollywould Anthracite Helen D'Orsay Ballet Flats, $295. They're comfortable but most importantly, they're gunmetal, the color for Fall.

Come back and tell me when your Fab Finds are up and tag them with post baby.

Oh! Now, you can build outfits by creating a list of clothing items. We have everything you need to build outfits with and you can use your Fab Find bookmarks too. This is an even better way to put together an entire outfit when you are completing your Fab Finding missions.

I chose pieces that can be mixed/matched, are all easy to wear and machine washable for a busy mom. :) Cost minus shoes: $161.45

Hi, I have a 9 month old daughter and Im still nursing. At first I was picky about easy access shirts but then i found that as long as your can easily pull your shirt up its all about the bra. Good luck!

vertical stripes for the illusion of a flatter tummy and dress with straps so your boobs can just pop right out to feed your baby :D light jacket with pockets, cause u need pockets for tissue and whatever you need instantly with a baby in tow.

Congrats! I had 2 babies back to back. Do not (I am serious) spend a lot of money on tops. You will regret it for literally the next 3 years. My daughter just turned 3 & I finally have some sanity....seriously...you are in spit up city. buy all the cute shoes & bags & pants you want, think throw away shirts. You will thank me one day ;) Good luck. -Melissa

Hopefully that works! I didn't check on prices for everything, but there are always ways of getting the look in your price range. :)

I helped my sister find nursing post-baby clothes and here is my favorite: wear cute cami/tanks that are stretchy/loose/starppy enough to pull down easily, and then wear a cute cardigan to camouflage the nursing bra straps. This is great since fall is coming and cardigans are super in.

how fun...I'm actually shopping with my best friend tomorrow for the exact same thing. She had her little bundle of joy last 4th of July. She needs more casual clothes since she's stopped working and this fab finding mission might work for her as well...except she lost all the weight she gained which wasn't a lot to begin with...i guess she's one of the lucky few...
