If you've been keeping your eye on the runway this Fashion Week, then you know Fall 2015 is all about the neck. But designers aren't adorning sweaters with chunky chokers or long silk scarves to accentuate the area. In fact, this might as well be the season of antijewelry. Because when you've got on a turtleneck as bold as the ones featured in the upcoming collections, your outfit's already got enough flair.

Rarely a dress, top, or coat is shown without a contrasting turtleneck underneath. And we certainly don't mind. The trend is flashy and funky, but in a subtle way, and it provides an added layer of warmth — which we could really use right now. And there are plenty of ways to wear it.

We did the shopping for you, and we gathered some standout inspiration, courtesy of your favorite labels and style savant Olivia Palermo. So scroll down to get started, and then hold your head high — you'll want to show this trend off.

Always ahead of the trends, Olivia Palermo worked her look with an added dose of color, thanks to her turtleneck. The style icon balanced the vertical stripes on her trousers and tailored coat with a horizontal stripe across her neck, and the result was totally luxe.

Tome Fall 2015

Things got geometric at Tome, where a flashy yellow pencil skirt was finished with bold squares and stripes, and a purple-and-black turtleneck complemented the flashy number. Here, a simple pin-striped button-up acted as a neutral.

At BCBG Max Azria, almost all of the boho-inspired looks were finished with a thick snood. The color of choice almost felt random, but because of the luxe appeal of the cozy ribbed accessory, everything fell into place.

Kate Spade showed this printed shift, which came complete with a contrast high-neck detail. Colorblocking with the dress’s sleeves, black accents, lent a chic structure to the look.

Edun Fall 2015

Black button-adorned snoods streamlined fun mixed-media shifts at Edun, working with over-the-knee leather boots to turn out a modern take on the '60s.

You've got three options here: if you prefer effortless dressing and admire the simplicity of throwing on a contrast turtleneck that's all one piece, there are a handful of sweaters for you. But if you like the idea of elongating your neck with a snood, you can invest in a design that'll complement much of your wardrobe. And don't underestimate the power of your skintight turtleneck tee. Work one as the foundation of your look, and you'll give off the same effect.
