Judging by all the hooting and hollering — an all-out rarity at a New York fashion show — it was clear when Karolina Kurkova opened the collection (in a cowboy hat, no less) that this was going to be one sexy show. And it was. Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs gave us their trademark harness necklines and cutouts, but that was the tame stuff.
Superhigh slits, ultralow lace-up necklines, and all-velvet gowns stomped down the runway like they were walking through the swinging doors of a saloon. Even the coats — particularly a black wool trench with fox-fur sleeves — and those Albertus Swanepoel-crafted hats exuded sexiness. Although, in this Western, the models weren't wearing boots; those black Louboutins were definitely made for walking.
