Dangerously Soft Driving Shoes

Have you ever experienced the comfortable pleasure of driving shoes? These soft and supple leather cozies have soft soles made from flexible rubber balls and offer unmatchable cushion and support every step of the way.

They are so supple, you will actually feel like you are walking around in slippers. These high-end styles are perfect for those of you who want to look neat and stylish, but value comfort first. All of these brands offer styles for both men and women. These make great gift ideas for mom too! Enjoy.

The Car Shoe Metallic Leather Drivers are a classic favorite. The company was established in 1963 after the Italian Ministry gave the designer an award for those comfortable little rubber studs on the bottom. Since then the company was bought by Prada. This classic style has laced leather ties, soft leather lining and a rubber sole. Buy them here for $330.

Tod's Classic Driving Moccasins are made from super soft pebbled leather with a contrast top stitch detail. The Tod's signature pebble gommini sole adds extra comfort and these are available in a wide array of colors. These wear really well. I've had mine for years and they only get softer with time. Buy them here for $325.

To see one more,

Delman'Opus' Moccasins are made from deliciously supple calfskin leather. They are designed to look like a classic flat with updated comfort for the sophisticated modern woman. Available in a wide range of colors. Buy them here for $147 (on sale).

Those are fantastic- only since I live in the city I'd use them for commuting on the subway- it's like a more wintery alternative to ballet flats and a less obnoxious-to-carry alternative to uggs :-). J.Crew has some great ones that I am thinking about buying, since $330 is a little much for my student budget.

Ooh, great find!!! You know, I bet they'd be great for people who stand on their feet all day at work too, you know? Especially for food/cocktail servers. Wonder if they come in black? Can't wait to check them out! Thank you!!!
