Too be honest, if I dressed for myself only, I wouldn't be dressed. So I should say that I dress for both! NO ONE WANTS TO SEE ME OUT AND ABOUT NAKED! :D

it's interesting to think about...i always thought i dressed for myself but when i think about it, whenever i'm going out i'm thinkinig about what other girls will be wearing...i definitely don't mind a little attention from the opposite sex so they're in mind too. but i value a compliment from a girl much more than one from a guy (unless the girl is doing something females will do from time to time and compliment something they hate...why do we do that!)

I took a women's studies class and this topic was actually discussed. It turns out that most studies suggest that women subconsciously dress for other women. Of course majority of us will deny it. But grooming is an essential part of social esteem and feeling good about ourselves. We can't also deny the fact that women notice these things more than men...that's why it is suggested that women dress for women.

I work in an office of all women, so i dont really give a rip what they think. I dress for myself, my husband would rather i not wear clothes at all

mostly women but i try to wear clothes that might attract male attentionit was the oddest thing though. i was trying to recall a shirt i had worn two days before, and my boyfriend instantly remembered it. and it wasn't that tight or revealing a shirt.

First off, if I am not comfortable I will not be happy; so I dress with myself in mind. However, if I am going out or going to be seen, I will take it up a notch.I do dress mostly for women because I have noticed that the only time a man notices is when you are wearing something really strange or really tight/revealing. Women take notice of make-up, hair, nails, clothes, and everything in between. I enjoy getting compliments more from women because they care and know what they are talking about!

I dress for myself unless it's time for a date, then it's a compromise: I don't tend to wear dresses a lot (skirts okay, dress no), but when I do wear a dress, my guy is smitten cause he knows it's for him and only him.
