I like to look young and cute and modern...but NOT like a high school girl or anything. I'm 31 years old, but I look a lot younger than my age and I'm tiny, so I can get away with wearing trendier things.

Sometimes I dress a little older than my age. I'll never forget the time I saw this super elderly (80, at least!) woman wearing a baby doll tee with "bebe" in sparkles and low-cut bootcut jeans. She definitely stood out in that mall.

I don't dress my age. At 33, what I'd really like to aim for is clothing about 5 years younger than my real age -- young enough to be fun and interesting for me, not so young that I look like mutton dressed as lamb. I don't need to look professional or conservative for work, I don't have any children to be embarrassed by me, I go out at night a lot, and I've maintained my figure. But women here (Tokyo) typically become VERY conservative by age 25 and I just can't get into the office lady or soccer mom look. So I often dress younger than I'd really like, because I'm seriously not having any luck finding anything in between "college student" and "mom."

Hmm I don't think I do. I should dress trashier I guess, since I'm 20. Kidding, I just dress conservatively. I like to leave things to the imagination.

I think I dress a little bit older than my age... But I just wear whatever I like and don't care what people say or think about that! xD

Nope, I dress what flatters me, and it happens to be a much younger style. Physically, I do not look my age either. I still get carded. Recently, a grocery clerk remarked on seeing my ID,"Wow, baby face! Stay young!" LOL

I am only 22 so I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to dress. I don't wear clothes to make me look younger but I don't do the opposite either. I just like to wear what's comfy and cute and not be a huge slave to trends (especially ones I don't like)

I dress older than my 23. I like to think that my style is more old hollywood classy. My mom says I should wear trendier clothes with more vibrant colors... to each their own!

Well I am 21, and although I don't know about staying that way forever, I don't think I'll ever much worry about whether clothes are too young or too old for me. If you feel fabulous in it, wear it, and if you are worried about what other people think then you won't feel that happy wearing whatever-it-is, so it's probably a good idea to skip. Clothes are meant to make you happy - if that isn't happening then it's not right for you, whatever your age!

I'm 25 and could still pass myself off as someone of high school age. It's a little hard to know what I can wear but then again, I don't like anything too teeny looking, so I think I'm safe. Too be honest though, it depends also on what one can pull off.

I had my first experience with feeling like I wasn't dressing my age just a month or two ago. I tried on what I thought was a really cute dress- and realized that would only be true for a 16 year old. :( Am I really getting so old?

I think I dress my age. Fashionable, sometimes trendy, mostly classic, but always conservative and appropriate.

I dress a little older than my age at the office, but when I'm out on the town, I feel I dress my 23 years to a "t". Just better than most people my age. ;D

skigurl, my friends and i had this conversation this weekend when we went back to our college and drank at the bar! :) actually it was one of the guys who brought it up. we determined that even if you have hot legs, 32 is about the cut-off age for short denim minis. how did we arrive at that number? who knows. :) anyway, you're only 25, so who cares. and who cares anyway, right? i am 29 though, and my legs just aren't what they used to be. so My denim skirts are just above the knee. And the shortest my other skirts go are about 2-3 inches above the knee. but my legs are definitely woman legs now, you know, just a little big bigger all over. so I don't think they look as good all hanging out!
