I'm always losing jewelry too since I tend to absentmindedly remove pieces and play with them. I'm not too worried about losing luggage on flights since the few times that has happened to me, the airline located the bags and shipped them within 2 days. My biggest issue is that my lovely friends tend to borrow my clothes (dresses, jewelry, bags, shoes, tops) and either forget them in a drunken stupor at a bar or "forget" to return them for months on end. So now that I'm heading to law school at Georgetown, I'm living alone as I'm too paranoid to have a roommate in case she's a klepto! Oh well. Here's to more closet space! And Amanda, if you're out there, I want my Milly sundress back from the Preakness! Bella-Donna 7 years I fear losing, or majorly damaging my 40+ quirky-unique t-shirts and a few crisp button-downs. And oh, since I'm an XS + petite, I buy 2 pairs of dark denim jeans that fit right(you know, just in case...) mommie 7 years I am much more concerned about loosing my jewelry. skigurl 7 years some stuff, yah for sure i had a coat stolen from a bar when i was like 15, and ever since then i'm crazy about bringing stuff to bars and check on my coat every 5 seconds tropicalsiren 7 years i don't travel often, only like once every 2-3 years so i've never actually thought about this until now,you guys now gave me another thing to stress about!!! One of my biggest fears is that my apartament burning down and losing EVERYTHING. I dont care that much for furniture(it's costly but replecable)but photos, family jewrely and all my clothes (and my husband's) plus that the change of dying, about THAT i have nightmares. em113 7 years royalblue - I agree about the tops. I can always buy more jeans, I don't see them discontinuing citizens anytime soon, but tops are much more seasonal. A store will make it for one season and the you'll never be able to get it again. It shouldn't be that big of a deal, but it stresses me out when flying. baciobisou 7 years when i know a trip is coming up i'll have NIGHTMARES i lose my luggles... NIGHTMARES?! really... thankfully its never happened. *knock on wood* RoyalBlueMoss 7 years if* they get lost or RoyalBlueMoss 7 years kinda, I have a REALLY Hard time find any kind of tops I like I buy a lot of pants and TONS of shoes and accessories but tops..... It's really hard. Whenever I do find tops I like I worry about it they get lost or ruined and I won't have them anymore. fashion4ward 7 years Only certain items. Marni7 7 years I do get like this about some of of my vintage stuff..I have some jewelry and clothes from back in the day that you really can not get anymore so I freak out about losing them..I am such a dork..but super protective about some of my stuff angelinemarie 7 years when i was flying back from L.A last week, i was so scared they were going to lose my luggage! Wicked 7 years I only freak out if I actually lose my clothes. Milly-the-ninja 7 years i used to but i just stopped thinking about it and havn't thought about it since..well now. bransugar79 7 years I have had occasional anxiety about missing luggage but only if something really important like a special occasion outfit is in there. I like my clothes but I'm more worried about losing my mind emalove 7 years I live in fear of this everytime I fly...I always panic that my bag will get lost will all my nice things inside. It hasn't happened yet (knock on wood), but I still get nervous whenever I have to check a bag. Oh, and if bag gets lost and they never locate it, the amount of money most airlines compensate you with is SO small! It would never come close to covering the expenses of all my clothes and shoes and makeup that are usually inside my suitcase. Francoisehardly 7 years I don't really travel but I've heard of people losing all their clothing which would suck. I would mostly hate losing specific clothing that I really love and really enjoy wearing. creamytofu 7 years its only clothes but my clothes! Le-Luxe 7 years Nah. I would be way more devastated if I lost my computer/iPod/pictures/etc. Clothes are replaceable. inertia 7 years I don't worry when I'm at home but I get very nervous about it when I travel internationally because sizing problems mean I can't easily buy replacements. I'm small so it's difficult to find clothes in North America and Europe, my feet are weirdly shaped so shoes are an issue as well, and my bra size doesn't even exist outside of Japan. So I pack 2 complete changes of clothes (1 casual, 1 dressy) in my carry-on bag, including an extra pair of shoes. LoveRoars 7 years Maybe it's my love for shopping... and that I've yet to add any designer names to my wardrobe... but I'd be psyched to go out and buy a new wardrobe! RosaDilia 7 years I once lost my luggage when I went on vacation and the real bummer was I used to pack my shoes without its pair. The whole time I was on vacation I wore the flats I travelled with. The other suitcase I had with me had one foot of each sandal that I packed. The airline never found my luggage. Now I pack at least 2 pair of shoes in my carry-on. miss_english 7 years Sometimes I worry about losing them... but I think more often I worry about gaining weight and not fitting my clothes anymore! But then I have to remind myself how superficial that is... em113 7 years Only when I fly. I'm scared to check bags because I love my clothes. It's not just the ones that are expensive, I worry about my cheap stuff that fits me well because it's hard to find clothes that fit you right, and after awhile things you buy become impossible to replace. Berlin 7 years I'm only this way about my shoes and certain articles of clothing that you just cannot get anymore! Otherwise, they are all replaceable.
