my mom used to make jewelry to sell when i was younger and i think that there are a lot of days that i've wanted to do that and i have - but i don't do it often. i think that i get these great ideas, but then i can't seem to make them work out - outside of my head.

I've made some stuff, and I love it! I think I'm going to get back into it and make it for Christmas presents! Cadi Con Carne, I love dichroic glass, it is so beautiful!

Sure do! I do basic strung work, wire work, and some basic soldering pieces with silver, gold, crystal, pearls (whatever gets me interested!), plus I work a lot in dichroic glass. I both make things for myself and give them as gifts...I have a good time making them, and my friends love it, so it works!

i make some pieces. you get spoiled after a while, because you look at something in the store and think "i could make a variation of that!"

Sometimes. I can make a pair of basic earrings and I experiment with bracelets.

No, but my sister does...she's made me some really great drop earrings and long beaded necklaces. I'm thinking of taking a jewelry-making class next summer. I've always been interested in learning.

When I was in high school in the late 90's I use to make a lot of jewelry. Other kids and even some teachers use to buy my necklaces all the time.

I wish - with my Nickle allergies, I'm too afraid to mess with anything ... besides, I never have time.

No,but I will often where things that were intended for something else as jewelry. For instance I was in Black and White with my aunt and they had these giant onyx looking tear drop pendants hanging on knobs with ribbon as decoration. At the end of the season when they were changing display I came back asked for one and they gave it to me for free. It makes an amazing bold center piece for simpler outfits.

I buy handmade jewelry from local artists instead! Usually these get the most comments and I don't have to worry about seeing my earrings/necklace on other chicks!
