sometimes i do - i think that it depends on how badly i want something and if i think that it'll be a fad more than a style. if it's a fad and i wait to get it on sale then i'm missing out and you can't live in NYC and wear something after the fad is over if you want to remain current.

Sometimes.

Bargain hunter FTW. I prefer classic pieces, anyhow, so they're not the kind of thing that is going to fly off the shelves. I can shop around, think it over, and only then make the purchase.

I try to, but if I want the item bad enough or it doesn't cost much to start with, I'll usually just buy it then and there.

For me it depends. I am very tall (6 feet and and inch)! I know - yikes. So it is hard to find clothes. If I find something that fits well and like I buy it as long as it's not ridiculously priced because I know I will regret it if I don't. I do always shop the sales and sale racks - you can find some great stuff if you know your prices, stop in often and know what you like :)

I usually only go shopping when there are sales everywhere, but sometimes I really need something (like jeans right now), so I'll buy it at normal (but reasonable) price.

I'm a size zero so basically everything I buy is on sale since it all stays. My closet has tons more stuff, better designers, and costs way less than my sister's. She's a size six and has to buy everything regular priced so its still there. Same thing with shoes, I'm a 6 so all the shoes I want stay while her typical 7 1/2 shoes can't even be bought for regular price.

I am a TJMaxx/Marshalls addict. It does not help that my gym is next door to TJMAXX...ouch.

I never pay retail. If I like an item I'll just have to take the chance it's still there come sale time. It's a sickness, really. I have too much guilt if I pay full price. I'm the girl who tells you how little I spent on an outfit when complimented rather than saying thankyou.

When I love something that is overpriced I visit it weekly until it's on sale.

I NEVER wait for sales... because I want the brand new stuff when it's brand new. I always get excited when the Victoria's Secret sales come up because I know that when they sell all the sale crap that the new stuff will be coming in soon. I go shopping the day after the sale ends do I get all the new stuff.

It's the sport of it all...paying retail isn't hard, it just hurts.

I don't "wait" for sales as much as I ignore regularly priced stuff.

I would also say about 90-95% of the time I shop only sales. But I agree with Lizs, I always think about the item and whether it's worth the full price. If I'm looking at a dress that's normally $50, and if I would never in a lifetime shell out $50 for it, then I pass it up even if it's 75% off.

I won't buy anything on sale that I wouldn't buy at full price, but if I happen to catch something on sale (or it goes on sale while I'm still making up my mind if it's really worth buying), all the better.

I always shop sales and will use coupons in addition to the sale prices. I get more items that way. Last week I bought three shirts for the price of two.
