Ha, I've been hooked ever since walking across campus on cold windy days with negative chill factors. If I have that jacket on - it's not because I'm hoping to make a fashion statement.

I do - mine are not extremely puffy and are cinched at the waist. I wear the 3/4 or long length styles. Here in CT it is a must at times. I stay warm and stylish!

living in california (silivon valley to be specific) I am lucky enough that i only ever need to wear down puff jackets when i go to snowy areas. When at home or around town my wool coats suffice.

I have a long down puff coat that I also feel is sort of slimming, but I've tried on shorter jackets I did not like as much. The warmth and cozy fit are the best on wintry days--so much so that I act.

I have a down-filled coat and it actually is flattering. It has a nipped-in waist and is actually really slimming. Keeps me very warm during the Colorado winters!

Wearing a puffy coat is not faltering. I don't like them for that reason.
