I'd consider it, but I hate wearing anything so constricting around my middle. High-waisted pants, pantyhose (I prefer thigh-highs or garters), or shapewear, I can't wear any of it. It tends to trigger anxiety attacks because I feel like I can't breathe properly. But, having never tried Spanx, I'd be willing to consider it if it's more comfortable than what I've tried in the past.

Its so funny everyone on this site is like "uh I don't need them!". True be told ladies even if you don't need them, shapewear does wonders for everyone's bodies. You can still be small and have some jiggle. I am 21 and I love when older ladies tell me "what do you need those for"? I actually look more pulled together in an outfit when I wear spanx. It stops any jiggle and pulls everything tighter. How do u all suppose your fav celebs gets that tight gym look under their dresses? Its not just the gym. Besides ladies of the 50s and such wore them and they look 10x more classier then our women of today.

I bought Spanx the other day and it was too big. I returned it for a smaller one....we will see how it fits. It looks good with the tight clothes of this season...especially if you want to eat.

I haven't, but with holiday parties coming up and if my body needed it badly enough, I'd be willing to brave the pain of wearing one in order to look good.

I've never tried shapewear and I'm afraid if I start I'll never want to wear anything without it again.

The model in the photo looks like she's just been through something traumatic. Spanx isn't as comfortable as advertised, but it's not that bad!But there's nothing like going commando for pure comfort.

I love my Spanx under form fitting dresses, and the like...Try getting them one size up if you feel like they're uncomfortable. They'll still get the job done, but give you just a little more room. :)

YES YES I do, especially with all these tight fitting clothes in fashion. It is part of accepting my figure :-)They are uncomfortable but not as uncomfortable as wearing an outfit that reveals the bulge and you making an effort all night to hide the bulge ;-)Now they even have them in panty hose and that is not as uncomfortable but still does the job by eliminating the muffin look!women back in the days wore them so why can't we?! yaayy!

I use the DKNY one that covers the tummy. I had a baby and still haven't lost all the weight. I just got the spanx ones that are footless, but go up to the boobs and are nylons. I like them, but I LOVE the DKNY ones! They're not uncomfortable at all!
