Cider-Morten 7 years Nope I love my body, and I know how to hide my flaws, I guess that helps me in the dressing room. hil34 7 years I'm still in the process of growing, so it really sucks finding clothes since I gain and lose 2-5 pounds every couple months w/o try to... tepiza 7 years Yeah it makes me feel bad about myself, but then again the perfect pair of jeans can also make me super elated. Besides, having a good look in the mirror helps me realize what I need to work on, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. tigerfire21 7 years Yeah, for some reason I'm always hotter in my bedroom mirror than in the dressing room mirror. reactionary 7 years i have the same issue as annamuffin - small boobs, big hips/butt area. i used to HATE going shopping, but i've grown to simply love it - i don't pay attention to the outfits or clothing items that were a miss, because when i find the ones that DO work i get SO excited. shopping is now one of my favorite things in the entire world.. which isn't so great for my wallet. austerity 7 years lol...about the lighting, it really depends on your skin tone. I have a caramel complexion with a yellow undertone, so I actually look much better in fluorescent lights :D. Dim, gentle lighting is generally better for lighter, rosier skin tones...somebody should tell the stores this. chicobo 7 years Sometimes! The lighting in those dressing rooms can be so god awful. angelinemarie 7 years not at all! most of the time i just dont feel like trying on clothes because im too lazy ThePerfectScore 7 years it only makes me feel pissed off at the store!~ Its like why don't they make it for me! I love my body and think the clothing shouold be tailored to fit me. Greentea1203 7 years you would think stores would have the most flattering lighting possible--then I'd buy everything I take in there practically! any 7 years yes, cause im tiny sometimes they dont fit! ImJessica 7 years I usually feel okay about my body, but the lighting in dressing rooms is so awful, it makes me feel terrible about myself. countchocula 7 years I like trying on dresses and skirts because those almost always fit me really well, but I hate shopping for jeans or pants of any kind. I usually try on about 40+ pairs of jeans before I can find a pair that flatters. Oh, and I get pissed off when I shop somewhere like BCBG and a size 6 is super tight on me - and I'm a size 4! At first I thought I'd gained weight but then people reassured me that the sizes do run a bit small. Wicked 7 years I feel bad that I don't like most of the items I picked out! Jude-C 7 years Nope, I love my figure. Trying on clothes does make me feel bad about my bank account, though. RoyalBlueMoss 7 years I'm very skinny and tall.... but I have a small butt, big hip bones, and a super tiny waist. Just try to find jeans that are a 34" inseam with a small butt, larger hips, and tiny waist. It's impossible. I use to feel so bad about my hip bones being so big... even though there is nothing I can do about the size of my bones. I started to feel better after I accepted that. It also helped that I read some models have the same problem. Bree982 7 years I wouldn't say I feel bad as much as guilt for not going to the gym more sometimes its good motivation. emalove 7 years Not very often. brutalcupcake 7 years Yep neonbee 7 years Sometimes... There are times I don't even want to try on the clothes anymore and just buy them. It's sad. reesiecup 7 years i often notice that the clothes i take home looked better on in the store's mirror :/ violinladyfreak 7 years I only get scared when I try on jeans. I have such a hard time finding the right jeans it's upsetting Francoisehardly 7 years I don't feel one way or the other. I hate the actual act of trying things on in the store so I'm never thinking about how I feel about how I look. emilyagogo 7 years It's not the clothes or my body that makes me feel bad - it's the fact that virtually EVERY store has TERRIBLE lighting! Even Nordstrom, Von Maur (Midwest), and Saks all use freaking FLUORESCENT lighting. And we all know how wonderful fluorescent makes things look.... Can't they invest in something that's both enviromental and less white-washy? Ugh. gabiushka 7 years Only when I the clothes are expensive!
