I work for a pharmaceutical company and the dress code is business casual. They are very lenient about the dress code and we are all allowed to wear jeans to work every day if we want to but I just reserve the treat for Fridays. It's just me, though. I like to feel a bit professional when I go to work. It makes me feel more polished and not so sloppy...although I know jeans can be chic, too.

Yes, I'm the HR Director of a private special education school. We have to dress conservatively, no cleavage, no clingy dresses or skirts and dresses can't be above the knee. When I started working there 11 months ago I had to go shopping for a whole new boring wardrobe.

Yes, but not on Fridays most of the time. And what is up with that picture of that girl sitting on those boxes. That's not cute at all.

I work in the deli department at a grocery store. Have to wear the white polo shirt, the apron and black slacks along with non slick shoes but I'm sure that is normal since it's a grocery store!!!! LOL! But I hate coming home all with this powdered dust from the gloves I have to wear!!!

I work in a nursery, so it's strictly jeans and older t-shirts during the week. On the weekends, we take plants to customers so it's semi-casual to formal.

i work in a small voip company. anything goes here..... it's very casual- the boys wear jeans and tshirts or shorts in the summer. i can come in in my joggers and flip flops if i want. today i have a summer dress on.... office wear like heels and a pencil skirt would definitely be out of place unless i was doing a presentation to customers who were visiting or we were out for meetings. i do wish i worked in a more girlie fashionable environment so i could dress up for work. i just feel silly if i do!

ours is very lenient i think. i work in advertising so we're allowed to be casual, you're just not allowed to wear anything 'mini', no flip flops, no tank tops (spaghetti straps), and no sneakers.

I work in the music business so we can wear whatever we want.

I am a teacher's aide, so I get to dress exactly the way I usually do (which I love). I of course, have to be conscious of length of skirts and dresses and comfort of shoes; and our awesome principal does draws the line at sleeveless (nothing less which I think is perfect and appropriate). yay, I luv my job...

There's not really any dress code to speak of at my nonprofit; people wear everything from business casual to jeans and t shirts. Exposed cleavage and underwear have also occurred.

I work at a university in the housing department, so if we dress up, it's weird! :) I'm the only one who wears dresses- everyone else wears jeans

I work at a jeans company, so jeans are the norm around here. Everyone varies though, some people look like they're spending a relaxing day at home, and some look like they're going to go out for a night on the town! I always mix it up (some days flip flops, some days high heels), but I always at least try to look presentable!

not really. i'm a college teacher, and while i try to keep it a step above the students, i can really wear whatever i want as long as it's not obscene. some days i dress up, and others i wear my nice jeans and a blouse. ---- my blog: http://baleenplates.blogspot.com

I work at Bloomingdale's and we wear all black. Depending on your position, there are different regulations but we definitely should look nice and put together, preferably a suit jacket and black pants. This way we all look uniform and classy.

Business casual. We're not supposed to wear jeans, even over the summer, but some people wear them anyway.

im a paralegal so I have to be business casual since i meet with clients all the time but our office is more on the lenient side. I can wear black jeans or super dark ones but i don't do it that often. I can get away with flip flops and I wear hats a lot but i always pair it with solids so I look more professional. It's all about sneaking in something comfortable.

Our dress code is stuck in the middle ages. I work at a hotel in the south and we have to wear pantyhose even in the sweltering summer heat and humidity. Of course no one really sticks to that since it's insane but it's still a pain to have to worry if someone is going to decide to enforce the dress code on any given day
