Dogeared, the LA-based jewelry brand that creates everyday jewels with inspirational messages, is going into the movie business. It has signed a deal with HBO to create jewelry associated to Sex and the City 2. What's more, it has also inked a deal with Sony to design a line inspired by the upcoming flick Eat, Pray, Love. "We relate to the theme of a woman’s journey for self-fulfillment and happiness," Dogeared founder Marcia Maizel-Clarke said. Fred Segal will sell the latter line, ranging from $20 to $100, while Bloomingdale's and Fred Segal will carry the SATC 2 collection, priced from $30 to $150, starting in May.
