I actually really like dropped waistlines, mainly because I admire clothes from the 20s, 30s, and 40s (I wouldn't wear them, of course). I just love those outfits hat people wore! The dropped waistline is something I would actually wear.

I think it is adorable. I personally don't think it work on bigger girls. If not worn right it could make someones legs look VERY short. =/

i loooooove waistlines like this... but i'm pretty narrow. i feel sportier in it and it's very young. i've seen this look on curvier girls and it just really doesn't work.

Hmm... that's interesting - these are my favorite waistlines when the fabric is clingy.

I really don't like this kind of wiastline. Mainly because I only see underaged wannabe-sluts wearing these, so I could be biased.

Great - another fashion that will make ladies with a nicely proportioned hourglass waist look 5 months pregnant :-( Who is behind this fashion conspiracy? First the Empire Line, then "Mum pants" and now drop waisted dresses. Don't you just want to hunt down and imprison the person perpetrating the repeat fashion horrors of the 1980's before they bring back "Happy Pants"
