Major brands and retailers have already begun promoting special sales and exclusive discounts hoping to woo customers into their stores. Yves Saint Laurent, for example, sent an email blast to customers announcing an “exclusive one-time discount” with 50 percent off apparel and 30 percent off all accessories today and Wednesday.
