Elizabeth and James Parachute Dress: Love It or Hate It?

This electric orange Elizabeth and James Parachute Dress ($375) is bright and perfect for a lazy stroll on the beach. However, I'm not too sure about the puffiness and bubble hem. Do you think this dress is hot, or not?

Oookay. So... 1) Go to charity shop. 2) Buy voluminous orange peasant skirt with elasticised waist. 3) Cut armhole in skirt on one side. 4) Run length of cord along hem of skirt, fold over, sew, and draw up skirt into bubble form. 5) Make $375 price tag. 6) Laugh all the way to the bank.

$375 for a parachute - maybe to save my life but that fabric has to be cheap, cheap for a dress.

Hate it. Inappropriate for my body type. I have an hour-glass figure. Why would I wear a baggy dress to hide that??

Reminds me of the puffy pumpkin costumes people dress babies in for halloween. The bubble hem must die. I seriously think someone once accidentally tucked a long skirt hem into their underwear after a trip to the bathroom, and when questioned about it, told people it was the latest fashion.

I really want to love it but I'm afraid I'd look huge in it. Maybe for a pregnant woman. This dress is very Tori Spelling preggers look.

Dislike. Reminds me of an orange silk potato sack.

Looks like a Proj Runway creation -- Hemmed up a skirt and put in an arm hole. "Vivienne Westwood" orange is big this season, it seems.

I'm over the bubble hem, as well. Well, over the overly bubbly bottom.

That dress cannot be flattering on anyone... actually i think most of their clothes look like they're seriously unflattering

I'm not a fan of the bubble, so I don't like that part of it. Maybe put a belt with it then it would be better. But it's definitely not for everyone.

I don't like the material combined with the electric orange color; they make the dress look cheap.

I like it. I couldn't imagine paying $375 for it though.
