Elle UK Gives Interns Control of October Issue

  • Elle UK is turning over the production of its October issue to a group of yet-to-be-hired interns. The magazine has 10 open positions, from art director to news editor right up to editor in chief. "We're keen to show our appreciation for the invaluable support that interns provide," the magazine's editors said in a statement. "We also know it's tough out there, and want to help the next generation of fashion and media stars launch vibrant careers." [Elle UK]

  • What kind of a dwelling do you spend your weekends in? Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler say they often while away their Saturdays and Sundays in a tepee on their property in the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts.
