There's usually a thematic bent to Giorgio Armani's collections, but his Emporio Armani lineup for Fall 2014 seemed to steer away from that a little. The designer told reporters he was inspired by Luc Besson's character Nikita, and her seductive and dangerous nature definitely came through in the mostly dark collection. Save for pops of bright blue, this offering stuck to black, gray, and white, and the clothes varied from the confident, professional look Armani has built his reputation on to chic cocktail dresses cut from black velvet.
