Hey there! It's Allison McNamara. Happy New Year! It's officially 2012 so stay tuned to hear the top trends we can't wait to wear this year in today's Fab Flash. Were huge animal print fans here at Fab Sugar and lucky for us safari looks are big for spring. Michael Coore show tons of exotic prints for spring 2012 and think that anyone can rock in a little print. I don't know a single person on the planet who doesn't look great in an animal. Even if you're a non-prints person it's your print. Besides interesting prints and Michael Cords we saw tribal stripes and marney, safari inspired jewelry at Aeromatic and body hugging dresses at Ervey Louissiere. Africa is definitely going to have a big influence in your 2012 wardrobe. After several seasons of daylight looks its time to get sporty. Think cozy hoodies, mesh cut outs, and updated track pants. Alexander Wang made his sporty suits with floral prints while Achizar showed body hugging dresses infused with athleticism. You dont have to take this trend to literally. Pair a cool sporty tee with feminine pieces or try athletic accessories I think if you are going to do floral, you may as well do a heads too. More is definitely more when it comes to prints this year. Head to toe florals cover the runways literally, at Arden, Peter Palado, and Christopher Kane, and we even spotted Emma Roberts trying out this trend late last year. I suggest starting out with a floral romper, and if you like it, go for the full pant and jacket combo and the best part, you can also wear these pieces separate. We saw so many Patic fringe pieces for this coming season. Our favorites were the twentys inspired fringe frocks at Gucci, which Camilla Bell and other Rachel Wood already tried out last year. A fringe is the perfect addition to any party dress. So start your new year of in style with one of these fabulous new trends for 2012. Im Alison, thanks for watching Fab Flash on Fab Sugar TV.
