Freaky or Fabulous? Flabuless Arm Hosiery

You know the world is going crazy when they start designing hosiery for . . . arms. We have seen tummy shapers, butt squeezers, thigh trimmers, but this? Flabuless Arm Hosiery ($66) promises to suck in all your jiggly arm flab. Of course, you would have to wear it with a long-sleeve shirt unless you want to give away your secret. Before you make a rash decision, give this product some thought. Consider that if you're using hosiery to hide your belly jiggles, why not use it to mask your arm-skin excess? I'm just sayin'. Now that you've given it thought, is it fabulous or just outright freaky?

I like the idea even if you go to the gym often, but then I also like shrugs; however it's over priced!

I just sent this to my mom, btw...well, the link to the site. She had weight loss surgery several years ago, and hasn't been able to get the underarm surgery to get rid of the extra skin. They make this in a cardigan style, too. There's actually 4 different sleeve styles on their site...and I'm considering getting one for myself, along with the one Mom politely requested for Christmas!

well - here's the thing - i think that it's a great invention, and that's because i feel like as much as i work out my arms, i hate the thought that they look chubby. i was in the elevator today and there was a slim girl in there with me, but she was wearing a long sleeve turtleneck, and her arms weren't nearly as small as i would have expected. i think that if that were me, i would love to have had this garment underneath my shirt so i could look small overall. i'm a bit weird like that - i'm always obsessing on how i look so if there's something that can help - i'll do it!

This is not new. We dancers have been doing this for years...only we just take our old tights, cut out the crotch and the elastic waist and...ta da! But this is to be worn only in ballet class, not in real life.

Body shapers in general freak me out. Between the false advertising and general discomfort, I would rather eat right, stay fit and embrace my body for what it was (imperfections and all).

AHAHAHA this reminds me of those Spaghetti Strap/ Arm Warmer sets that people used to wear in like 1997 - 1998.... YUCK!

Hmm . . . I like it, except for one thing - it seems like it would chafe your armpits. I see the band in the arms creating nasty irritation. Maybe I'm just more sensitive than others . . .

Go to the gym...and eat better...end of story.

I feel like this would end up squeezing your skin kind of like a tight bra...not exactly flattering

That's just hilarious. I might wear it if I'm in my 60s! I'm glad I don't have arm flab.

Uh, if my arm jiggle got that bad, I'd get a lot more serious about my diet and working out routine before I would use this...

i hear people all yelling go to the gym but if you lost a lot of weight like me it just hangs there and you can not do anything about it, expect armlift but that cost much money, i love it

Instead of buying these go work out and build.. a little something called muscle tone. I can't believe the lazy country we live in. I'd kill myself before I let my body get to the point where I need stuff like this.

Looks like it could create some freaky back flab lines... maybe if it extended a bit further down the back it could cover bra lines as well.
