Ginniger Goodwin Holding Umbrella At He's Just Not That Into You Premiere

Trend Alert: Swanky Umbrellas

I know it's hard to look good in the rain, but with a couple of key pieces, I guarantee you success. Take for example, Ginnifer Goodwin, seen left, at the He's Just Not That Into You premiere in Australia. The actress isn't going to let a couple of drops rain on her parade. Her swanky umbrella not only protects her citron Brian Reyes frock, it also makes a chic, functional accessory. I know you'd rather spend your money on clothes and shoes, but it's a necessary investment. After all, you don't want wet Manolos.

http://teamsugar.com/user/snowysakurasky/fabfinds/1833758 i want this one~! swanky umbrella's will never be out since they are more stable than cheap ones. the only problem for me is where to put them, carrying them on transit, and how not to lose them. thanks for the heads up about burberry! and eddie bauer makes a good one that can't go inside out. thats what i use......

califab, I totally agree! as cute as these umbrellas are, I got my super cute, funky, and utilitarian one at Target for $5! it's so lightweight, I carry it in my purse year-round...

The dumbest purchase of my life was a Burberry umbrella. I had my now husband buy it for me when we were dating and making peanuts. Ha, the umbrella cost $150, only covers one person, and turns inside out at the slightest gusty wind. Serves me right for being so materialistic. I love looking at the umbrella and realizing how far we have come in our decision making over the last 7 years. My favotire umbrella is totes, I bought it at TJ Maxx for $5, it folds up tiny and still covers 2 people-- voila!

you get so much use out of it here in London, that you may as well have a swanky one! I have a rather nice Lulu Guinness one that I found!

I am such a fan of a funky umbrella! Makes bearing the rain that much easier. I like the ones from Marimekko best. The prints are super fun and cheery.
